I understand why you decline to take on industrial noise, and see that leaf blowers are included in that category. However, in my experience, leaf blowers and noisy gas powered lawn equipment are some of the most ubiquitous and distressing sources of noise on this island. The drone of leaf blowers is incessant and daily, and begins as early as 6:00 am in my neighborhood. Often it is a landscaping company making the noise with absent property owners. I'm not aware of any action that can be taken other than confrontation. While these types of equipment should be limited to industrial, even commercial, areas, they are what residential neighborhood sound like on oahu . I hope you will consider addressing this issue in future.

We cannot agree more that commercial leaf blowers and other landscaping equipment are amongst the noisiest of implements plaguing our neighborhoods. We will take a look at creating a page that addresses the leaf blower/lawn equipment problem.
